Investments in Building Construction

1- To overcome unexpected increase in yarn prices (fluctuations) LSM has constructed storage facilities of 7500 Sq. FT which can accommodate approximately 15000 bags of yarn.

2- An additional 7500 Sq. FT Area has been constructed to carry stocks of Beirholm Greige products. Finished Goods Storage Capacity has been increased from 400 Sq. Ft to 13000 Sq. Ft.

3- Total Cost of Investment in development of Infrastructure is approximately 18 Million Rupees.

Investments in Machinery

Investment in Processing Department

    • Addition of Conveyer Dryer to increase capacity by 6000 Kgs. Per day.

 

– The Cost of Investment is 35,000 USD.

    • Addition of HT/ HP Dyeing Machine with a capacity of 800Kgs and an option of VAT Dyeing. Machine has been commissioned and is waiting for Trial Production primarily due to shortage of Gas (Gas fields have been under maintenance for past few days).

 

– The Cost of Investment is $150,000.

 

Investment in Weaving Department

    • Addition of 2 Jacquard looms which will enhance production capacity by 10T/ month.

 

– The Cost of Investment: 250,000 Euros.

    • Addition of 10 Dobby Looms which will increase production capacity by 50t/ month

 

– The Cost of Investment: 650,000 Euros.

 

Total Investment: 900,000 Euros.

Increased Production Capacity: 60T/ Month

 

Machines expected to be installed and in operation early next year.

Investments in Utilities

    • Addition of 0.7MW Genset to strengthen power supply and ensure un-interrupted production.

– Investment Value: 87,000 Euros

 

    • Addition of two new tube wells to augment supplies to R.O. Plant – ensuring good quality water available to the production process.

– Investment value: 5 Million Rupees

Investment In Human Resource

Introduction of Fresh Blood as well experienced individuals in Management .

 

Faizan Lakhany – joined as a family director after completing undergraduate studies in Commerce & Finance from University of Toronto, Canada.

 

Currently undergoing a comprehensive training program and will be taking up on management responsibilities upon completion of training.

 

Mr Farooque Zara – joined in as a Textile consultant. Mr. Zara has more than 20 years of experience in the Towel industry.

 

Mr. Khwaja – joined in as a General Manager. Mr. Khwaja brings in 25 years of rich experience in Human Resource Management. He was previously involved in management roles at multi-national corporations.

 

Addition of experienced account managers to handle dedicated client accounts for LSM

 

Mr Khaliq – Joined as a Quality Inspection Executive to ensure all goods have been manufactured at the optimum quality and meet the requirements of the respective buyer.
