Weaving
Weaving is the “HEART” of Towel Manufacturing Process.
Terry cloth has to first be made into a fabric, and is done through warping and weaving. Longitudinal threads are warped across a beam while at the same time latitudinal threads are woven over and under them. It can only be woven using two warp beams; the ground warp is used to form the base of the towel while the pile warp is used to create the loops of thread that produce the texture and function.
There are two kinds of weaving looms:
1- Dobby
2- Jacquard

1- 23 dobby looms, 16with tuck-in option.
2- 06 Jacquards looms with no restriction of any particular size or width.

All Towels weaved at LSM go through 100% inspection on 4 point system before being issued to processing.
Processing Department
Processing of Towels is an art which renders the towel good to look at, bulky to feel and soft to touch.
At LSM, we endeavor to deliver the towel on the above parameters.
